Chestnuthill township board meeting11/16/2023 “Though there are times there’s differences in opinions, they’re professionally handled the way they should be handled,” he added. Miller said that the Chestnuthill Township team is “always committed to do what is best for the residents.” “I know that it was at a tough time when we asked you to step in here,” Gould said during the meeting. “To fill that void was an honor that oftentimes I don’t even feel like it laces boots, you know, what he did and the type of man he was.” “One of the reasons I took the position was because of my good friend David being murdered,” Miller said. He said that before becoming supervisor he had helped develop the Little League Parks with former township Supervisor David Fleetwood, who was a victim of the Ross Township shooting in 2013. Miller served in law enforcement for 34 years before retiring in 2013, the same year he took the position as township supervisor. “I will always consider it an honor to have worked with the Chestnuthill Township,” Miller said. It will then have 30 days to make that decision. The township cannot choose Miller’s replacement until 30 days after Aug. His resignation will become effective Aug. He and his family will be moving out of the area, Miller said. Chestnuthill Township Supervisor Harry Miller tendered his letter of resignation after six years of service at the board meeting Tuesday.
